DTP was founded in 2017. Our primary Mission Statement that still holds true today is:
Making Divorce Just a Little Bit Easier™
We believe that this can be accomplished by bringing together amazing professionals all of whom have expertise in the divorce landscape and all of whom understand what it means to collaborate.
At each chapter meeting we bring you a top-notch speaker or program, providing on-going education, and an opportunity to network and collaborate with some of the best divorce professionals in your community. Our meetings are typically an hour. We respect that you are a busy professional and are sure to provide a compelling, productive meeting, the ultimate results of which will meet our goal of supporting folks as they go through divorce and in growing your business, concurrently.
This event is completely free to all FIRST-TIME attendees. It is an opportunity to learn more about the Divorce Transition Professionals. If you are a professional with divorce expertise, please check us out.

Shannon has been in the financial services industry for over 22 years and am a CERTIFIED FINANICAL PLANNER ™. Having worked in all aspects of an advisory firm, I have found being with clients and seeing them reach their goals and objectives has been the most rewarding. Divorce requires a support team.
Clients are more than just a portfolio of numbers. Understanding a client’s values, goals and circumstances are my top priorities. My clients have shared with me that they know I understand them and what’s important. I have a passion for problem solving, explaining the tradeoffs and impact to a client as life unfolds and decisions that need to be made in relation to their objectives. No question is too silly or small, it’s your money, you should feel comfortable asking about any and all aspects of it. As a fiduciary, I place your interests ahead of my own, and feel fiercely protective of my clients in an industry where some people have trusted their advisor, to only be taken for a ride.
Investment consulting is one piece of the layers of wealth management. Advanced planning that includes tax mitigation, asset protection, wealth transfer and charitable giving are equally important areas that I advise clients on based on their unique situation. I collaborate with your other professionals to ensure your team is aligned to achieve your goals.
