Why 2.0? Well, after 10 years it is time for a change. A change in location, a change in format and a change in the design. So, we're bringing in a top-notch speaker, holding it in a top-notch location, providing all of the networking and business opportunity you could ask for with some of the best professionals in the community that specialize in working with people dealing with divorce. While this particular meeting may not have all of the following, we expect to provide continuing education, networking, study groups, break-out sessions, case consultations and more......

This event is completely free to all FIRST TIME attendees. It is an opportunity to find out what the Divorce Transition Professionals is all about, what it is about to become and how becoming a member will benefit you. In this presentation, private investigator Avi Klein shows you how to use public records and legal databases to find people, locate assets, and conduct meaningful background checks.”

 

“Avi Klein is a private investigator based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He specializes in helping litigators test factual claims, locate and interview witnesses, conduct background checks and review social media. A former journalist and political opposition researcher, he has a BA from UC Davis and a JD from the University of Southern California.”

The Klein Group is a private investigations firm supporting civil and criminal litigators, in-house counsel and investors. We specialize in asset searches, background investigations, locating and interviewing key witnesses, identifying anonymous online fraudsters, surveillance and challenging service of process. Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, we serve clients throughout the United States.

Representative engagements include:

• A two-year investigation into embezzlement at a major San Francisco hotel in which we located key witnesses and financial records, resulting in a favorable settlement and the federal indictment of the opposing party.

• Located key witnesses corroborating a pattern of illegal billing behavior by a major hospital chain.

• Identified and interviewed critical witnesses in a contract dispute at a regional airport, resulting in critical findings supporting the client’s key factual claims.

• Identified syndicate of anonymous online retailers selling cosmetics and other products with unauthorized endorsements by leading television celebrities.

• Conducted due diligence background checks and blind reference interviews on behalf of publicly traded companies and privately-held investment groups.

• Conducted internal investigation into complaints brought by a former employee against a financial services firm.

• Extensive experience managing complicated surveillance, including in support of high net worth individuals being targeted by false personal injury claims.

She is a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, a Real Estate Broker's license, and a lending license. Protecting people has been Holly's passion throughout her career. Her website and the materials she distributes in her local community have always warned people about the dangers in the mortgage industry and how to avoid them.
