Why 2.0? Well, after 10 years it is time for a change. A change in location, a change in format and a change in the design. So, we're bringing in a top-notch speaker, holding it in a top-notch location, providing all of the networking and business opportunity you could ask for with some of the best professionals in the community that specialize in working with people dealing with divorce. While this particular meeting may not have all of the following, we expect to provide continuing education, networking, study groups, break-out sessions, case consultations and more......
This event is completely free to all FIRST TIME attendees. It is an opportunity to find out what the Divorce Transition Professionals is all about, what it is about to become and how becoming a member will benefit you. So, if you are a professional in the divorce field i.e. Attorney, Accountant, Financial Professionals, CDFA, Mediator, Therapist, Realtor, Mortgage Broker etc.....please attend and check us out. Julie Rountree
As a family law attorney, I have represented clients in countless divorces and helped clients navigate these challenges for over 15 years. Although I was their legal advocate, I never truly felt capable of managing clients’ issues when it came to emotional part of divorce. I found myself struggling as an attorney working with confused, intimidated, and anxious clients who were so overwhelmed with court hearings, opposing counsel’s demands, and organizing financial documents – in addition to feeling the trauma of divorce. My clients felt helpless, and my career became stressful and demanding. I started to lose focus of my own reasons for practicing family law.
After several years of needing a change, I made it a priority help clients sort through the emotional part of divorce, become more involved in their cases, and thrive in the post-divorce transition once the lawyers and judges were out of the picture. I knew I had to reinvent the divorce experience by providing support to my clients, as well as guidance, focus, and tools for a peaceful transformation. I became certified as a Divorce Coach and Divorce Transition & Recovery Coach, and today, my practice is devoted to helping men and women who are simply overwhelmed by the divorce process and ready to gain clarity, confidence, and the ability to move forward with grace.

Life can take unexpected turns but a well thought out plan can provide the framework to move forward with confidence in the midst of an everchanging world. Jennifer graduated from the University of North Florida in 1994 with a degree in psychology. This interest in psychology combined with her natural, analytical inclination provides Jennifer with a deep understanding of both the emotional and financial implications of major life events such as retirement, divorce or a family member’s death. Helping people navigate these situations is what inspires her every day here at The Driscoll Group.
Jennifer has her Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses and her Florida life, health and variable annuity insurance license. She earned her CFP® designation in 2007. Jennifer shares The Driscoll Group philosophy of putting clients first and utilizing a holistic approach to help clients work toward their financial goals.
When the office is closed, Jennifer is usually spending time with her family. Road trips, kayaking and gardening are some favorite past-times…and she’ll probably be eating since she cannot pass up a new and interesting restaurant!
