About Divorce Transition Professionals (DTP)

 

Why 2.0? Well, after 10 years it is time for a change. A change in location, a change in format and a change in the design. So, we're bringing in a top-notch speaker, holding it in a top-notch location, providing all of the networking and business opportunity you could ask for with some of the best professionals in the community that specializes in working with people dealing with divorce. While this particular meeting may not have all of the following, we expect to provide continuing education, networking, study groups, break-out sessions, case consultations and more...

This event is completely free to all FIRST TIME attendees. It is an opportunity to find out what the Divorce Transition Professionals is all about, what it is about to become and how becoming a member will benefit you. So, if you are a professional in the divorce field i.e. Attorney, Accountant, Financial Professionals, CDFA, Mediator, Therapist, Realtor, Mortgage Broker etc.....please attend and check us out. There is nothing like us in the area currently.


This Month's Program

Forensics & Litigation - Brian J. Trampe, CPA, ABV, CFF, has 15 years of experience providing litigation support, business valuation, due diligence and audit services with concentration in the areas of manufacturing, financial services, health care, real estate, technology, oil and gas, and professional organizations.

 

As part of Weaver’s Forensics and Litigation Services group, Brian is primarily focused on Texas family law divorce cases. He has assisted on more than 70 family law divorce cases in the DFW Metroplex, including tracing, characterization, forensic and valuation services. Brian has attended various divorce mediations and served as an expert witness in state family law courts in Dallas County, Collin County, Tarrant County and Denton County.

 

 

 



 

Lisa Marquis believes in settling family cases collaboratively whenever possible. Her clients view the collaborative process as a way to better control the outcome of their case and reduce stress and trauma to their family. Divorce is certainly an ending, but Lisa also sees it as the beginning of a new family unit. She believes that the collaborative process can smooth the transition for you and your children. Lisa also understands that some cases cannot be handled collaboratively and also effectively represents clients in contested matters that are presented to the court for determination. However, even in those contested cases, Lisa uses her training as a collaborative attorney to minimize the level of conflict between the parties, and endeavors to always put the best interest of the children first. Even in cases that need to be handled through the more traditional litigation process, Lisa strives to be part of the solution and not part of the problem.
