Why 2.0? Well, after 10 years it is time for a change. A change in location, a change in format and a change in the design. So, we're bringing in a top-notch speaker, holding it in a top-notch location, providing all of the networking and business opportunity you could ask for with some of the best professionals in the community that specializes in working with people dealing with divorce. While this particular meeting may not have all of the following, we expect to provide continuing education, networking, study groups, break-out sessions, case consultations and more......

This event is completely free to all FIRST TIME attendees. It is an opportunity to find out what the Divorce Transition Professionals is all about, what it is about to become and how becoming a member will benefit you. So, if you are a professional in the divorce field i.e. Attorney, Accountant, Financial Professionals, CDFA, Mediator, Therapist, Realtor, Mortgage Broker etc.....please attend and check us out. There is nothing like us in the area currently.

Patricia De Fonte, Principal, De Fonte Law PC

Patricia De Fonte, JD, LLM,  is the founder of De Fonte Law PC, where she and her team practice Estate Planning with Heart™. De Fonte Law PC works remotely with clients throughout California. Patricia believes that her role as counselor and connector is as important as her role as an attorney, and she helps every client fully utilize their team of advisors, ensure each client complete a full insurance audit, and invites financial advisors to attend funding meetings.

De Fonte Law PC works with happy proactive people to create highly personalized estate plans.  De Fonte Law PC trusts are designed to provide a framework for success - each beneficiary is able to request funds to pay for financial advisors, tax professionals and attorneys so that they will effectively manage their inherited wealth when the time comes.

Publications and Speaking Engagements: Patricia is a published author, having contributed the chapter – Finding Security in Times of Strife: The Necessity of Estate Planning During Divorce, to Estate Planning Strategies: Collective Wisdom, Proven Techniques of WealthCounsel Attorneys.

Patricia De Fonte speaks virtually and in person each month. She facilitates estate planning workshops through two non-profits in the Bay Area on Fundamentals of Estate Planning for Parents. She also hosts periodic panel discussions on pertinent financial topics to help educate the community and build a team of experts for each client.

When Patricia is not working at the firm, you will most likely find her reading the New Yorker in the backyard under a lemon tree, on vacation, watching zombie shows, or spending time with family and friends. She will treat you as one of her own until Cards Against Humanity comes out, then all bets are off!
