Why 2.0? Well, after 10 years it is time for a change. A change in location, a change in format and a change in the design. So, we're bringing in a top-notch speaker, holding it in a top-notch location, providing all of the networking and business opportunity you could ask for with some of the best professionals in the community that specializes in working with people dealing with divorce. While this particular meeting may not have all of the following, we expect to provide continuing education, networking, study groups, break-out sessions, case consultations and more......

This event is completely free to all FIRST TIME attendees. It is an opportunity to find out what the Divorce Transition Professionals is all about, what it is about to become and how becoming a member will benefit you. So, if you are a professional in the divorce field i.e. Attorney, Accountant, Financial Professionals, CDFA, Mediator, Therapist, Realtor, Mortgage Broker etc.....please attend and check us out. There is nothing like us in the area currently.

Marilyn Simon-Gersuk is a seasoned professional with over three decades of non-profit management experience. Marilyn has a wealth of experience in management fundraising, and non-profit operations. She has worked for local, regional, national, and international organizations. Marilyn is mission-driven and has worked for organizations that positively impact people’s lives and build a brighter future.

Marilyn, a native Californian, moved to Santa Barbara from Los Angeles in 2013 to work for the Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara and from that time became an active community member.

As a volunteer, Marilyn is currently a CASA with CASA of Santa Barbara County, on the Mesa Shul of Santa Barbara board, and has been a youth soccer referee. In their spare time, she and her husband Dave enjoy attending home games for UCSB Men’s Soccer. Marilyn is truly committed to serving our community.

Marilyn holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Communication from California State University, Northridge. Marilyn and Dave have three wonderful adult children and three rescue dogs.
