About Divorce Transition Professionals (DTP)

 

Why 2.0? Well, after 10 years it is time for a change. A change in location, a change in format and a change in the design. So, we're bringing in a top-notch speaker, holding it in a top-notch location, providing all of the networking and business opportunity you could ask for with some of the best professionals in the community that specialize in working with people dealing with divorce. While this particular meeting may not have all of the following, we expect to provide continuing education, networking, study groups, break-out sessions, case consultations and more......


This event is completely free to all FIRST TIME attendees. It is an opportunity to find out what the Divorce Transition Professionals is all about, what it is about to become and how becoming a member will benefit you. So, if you are a professional in the divorce field i.e. Attorney, Accountant, Financial Professionals, CDFA, Mediator, Therapist, Realtor, Mortgage Broker etc.....please attend and check us out. There is nothing like us in the area currently.

India Kern is a Certified Divorce Coach. She helps a person navigate the divorce process without falling into the common emotional pitfalls. India’s forward-thinking approach minimizes the “overwhelm” of divorce by helping with:

• Emotional support

• Preparation for the business of divorce

• Devising a game plan India’s clients feel confident that they are making wise and informed decisions about their next steps forward. She guides a person in any phase of divorce, even those that may be on the fence. India also authored the book, "Surviving the Unwanted Divorce” which details her journey to forgiveness after a painful divorce.

India provides:

  • Group coaching 
  • An online course: The Divorce Survival Kit

Trey Gallegos,  CFP® ChFC®


 I believe in a full service, custom fit approach. No two lives are the same, so the financial strategies used for each person should be adjusted accordingly.

I earned a bachelor’s degree in financial services and a certificate in personal financial planning from San Diego State University. Go Aztecs! I also hold the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designations.

My education and designations have led me to build my practice using a wholistic planning approach. I evaluate all areas of your personal and financial position instead of individual aspects. Doing so gives me the ability to identify a plan and provide each of my clients personalized guidance.

On a personal side, my family and I moved to San Diego County in the late '90s. From that moment, I fell in love with southern California and knew I would never leave. My wife, Sandy, is a nurse at a local hospital, and we are raising two amazing daughters who keep us young. I have a passion for sports, food and traveling. I am involved in my local community through my children's school and enjoy participating in various foundations.

Neil has been married to Stacie since 1987, has three beautiful children and lives and works in Westlake Village, California.
