This Month's Program

Ty Supancic, Family Lawyer

7 Options for Divorce in California

Before becoming a family law attorney, Ty represented talent as an agent and personal manager in the entertainment industry for over a decade. And rather than attend law school, which only serves to indoctrinate attorneys into an adversarial win-lose mindset, Ty became an attorney by reading the law like Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln.  With his unusual background, he brings a unique perspective to problem solving and client care. Practicing Collaborative Law first as a paralegal, and then as an attorney after passing the California Bar Exam, Ty is passionate about helping couples lovingly reorganize their families while minimizing divorce costs by utilizing the Consensual Dispute Resolution models.  A published author, frequent contributor to the Daily Journal, and popular speaker on Family Law and Estate Planning issues, Ty practices only Consensual Dispute Resolution in all areas of Family Law, from prenuptials through divorce, including post-judgment modifications and post-divorce estate planning.

DTP Placer County - Chapter Leader

Sharla Nichols Caves, CRPC®

Financial Advisor at Edward Jones

Before you can begin working toward achieving your financial goals, you must first define what’s important to yourself and your family. Does that include putting your children through college, making sure you've saved enough for retirement, leaving something for your heirs or something else? I can help you prioritize your needs and define your goals.

I have spent my entire career in the financial services industry, with my earlier years focused in commercial lending. I joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor in 2012. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in business from Kaplan University.

I grew up in a small, rural community in the central valley. I have always loved the small-town feel, which is why I love having my office in Loomis.

My husband and I have five children, which includes two wonderful daughters-in-law. Our youngest daughter is the only one left at home. Outside of work, we enjoy camping, traveling and watching our daughter play softball.

I strive to be a community leader by volunteering my time with the Loomis Basin Chamber of Commerce and Soroptimist International of Loomis Basin. I have held positions on the boards of both organizations. You will typically find me participating in the local community events.

It's more than just money. You invest because you want to provide for yourself and your family. When you work with Edward Jones, you are partnering with a financial advisor who strives to understand what's important to you, uses an established process to build personalized strategies to help meet your financial goals and partners with you over time to help you stay on track. To learn more about how I can help you make sense of investing, please contact our office.
