So, we're bringing in a top-notch speaker, holding it in a top-notch location, providing all of the networking and business opportunity you could ask for with some of the best professionals in the community that specialize in working with people dealing with divorce. While this particular meeting may not have all of the following, we expect to provide continuing education, networking, study groups, break-out sessions, case consultations and more......

This event is completely free to all FIRST TIME attendees. It is an opportunity to find out what the Divorce Transition Professionals is all about, what it is about to become and how becoming a member will benefit you. So, if you are a professional in the divorce field i.e. Attorney, Accountant, Financial Professionals, CDFA, Mediator, Therapist, Realtor, Mortgage Broker etc.....please attend and check us out. Michael Perlmutter

Mr. Perlmutter is an experienced valuation expert with an extensive 27-year career at the Internal Revenue Service as an Estate Tax Attorney, Revenue Agent and Valuation Specialist. His IRS career provided invaluable exposure to complex valuation issues, including those related to business and intellectual property valuation, while he often challenged high wealth taxpayers represented by some of the most prestigious firms nationwide. 

After retiring from the IRS, Mr. Perlmutter founded the Valuation and Litigation Group,  consisting of a team of seasoned valuation experts with a focus on business valuation and intellectual property valuation as well as royalty compliance audits.  Mr. Perlmutter holds active California licenses as an attorney and CPA, in addition to valuation industry certifications as a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Accredited Business Appraisal Review (ABAR) from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA). 

Mr. Perlmutter has written IRS valuation related training materials, taught and mentored IRS attorneys, is a sought after presenter at seminars and other professional gatherings, and is also an instructor at UCLA Extension.
