Welcome to the Divorce Transition Professionals (DTP)

DTP was founded in 2017. Our primary Mission Statement that still holds true today is: 

Making Divorce Just a Little Bit Easier™

We believe that this can be accomplished by bringing together amazing professionals all of whom have expertise in the divorce landscape and all of whom understand what it means to collaborate.

 At each chapter meeting we bring you a top-notch speaker or program, providing on-going education, and an opportunity to network and collaborate with some of the best divorce professionals in your community. Our meetings are typically an hour. We respect that you are a busy professional and are sure to provide a compelling, productive meeting, the ultimate results of which will meet our goal of supporting folks as they go through divorce and in growing your business, concurrently.

This event is completely free to all FIRST-TIME attendees. It is an opportunity to learn more about the Divorce Transition Professionals. If you are a professional with divorce expertise, please check us out.

Jamee Damron

Bio: Jamee’s story is one of resilience. She is a speaker, coach, and comedian with over twenty years of stage experience. After the tragic loss of her childhood best friend, Jamee pursued degrees in psychology and sociology. Her early career began as a counselor in a psychiatric hospital. The sudden loss of her mother led her to take chances and move to New York City to pursue stand-up comedy, one of the scariest and most amazing experiences of her life. The recent loss of her sister to cancer was a significant “aha’ moment. With her humanities background and sharp storytelling skills, Jamee decided to pivot from performer to public speaker. In 2020, she launched her speaking and coaching business, focusing on turning loss into impactful leadership. Since she began speaking on loss and leadership in 2021, she has witnessed an extraordinary, almost indescribable hunger for this message. In just six months, Jamee was presenting this approach on a national stage, helping audiences transform their experiences of loss and adversity into strengths that enhance their leadership, drive upward mobility, and enrich their lives. When she’s not working, she enjoys cooking and traveling with her husband, golden retriever, and imaginary Downton Abbey staff.

We all encounter loss and adversity in various forms throughout our lives. But what if those very challenges hold the key to unlocking both personal and professional growth? In my presentation, I explore how embracing adversity fosters deep personal transformation, strengthening essential leadership qualities such as empathy, resilience, and strategic decision-making. By shifting our perspective on loss, we can turn pain into power, emerging as leaders who not only survive challenges but thrive because of them.

Marcia Zigler is a Certified Divorce Lending Professional (CDLP®️) who holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology. With a unique blend of expertise in both financial and psychological realms, Marcia is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to her client's navigating divorce. Drawing upon her background in Clinical Psychology, Marcia brings a deep understanding of human behavior, emotions and interpersonal dynamics to her work as a CDLP®️ and the ability to offer compassion and guidance to her clients during what can be a highly emotional and challenging time.

Marcia is dedicated to staying current with the latest developments in guidelines affecting mortgages and divorcing spouses qualified income. With a focus on empathy, integrity and professionalism, Marcia strives to make the divorce process smoother and less daunting for those she serves.

Whether providing guidance on equity buyout or purchasing a new property, everyone is unique with regards to their mortgage planning needs. With Marcia's expertise and understanding, you can know that your mortgage solution will be navigated with sensitivity and a commitment to empower each of her clients to the next chapter of their wonderful life.

Upon creating this Newport Beach Chapter, our intention is to create a positive referral network, with like-minded individuals who hold similar beliefs and look to empower our clients and know your client is in great hands upon making that referral.

He has also started several groups such as the Money Mastermind for Women™ and the Divorce Transition Professionals™. Neil has been married to Stacie since 1987, has three beautiful children and lives and works in Westlake Village, California.
