Liza Boubari – Speaker/Author/Clinical Hypnotherapist

Liza Boubari is a trailblazer in the realm of mind-body therapy, driven by a profound understanding of how stress and emotional well-being impact physical health. Her journey into hypnotherapy began after experiencing the transformative power of practice in her own life, leading her to shift careers after many years as a paralegal in law offices. In 1999, she founded HealWithin, Inc., a renowned healing center for Mind-Body Therapy, where she has since dedicated herself to helping others achieve healing and empowerment.

Liza holds certifications in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Stress and Anger Management, Action Coaching, and Domestic Abuse Consulting. With nearly three decades of experience, she has become an International Best-Selling Author, sought-after motivational speaker, and a weekly podcast Heal-Talk/Rea-Talk with Liza.  She’s the creator of The 3E Event, an annual gathering empowering women to connect, share, and thrive in mind and body.

In 2018, Liza expanded her mission by founding HealWithin International, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on providing integrative therapies to children aged 8-17 by addressing the deep emotional wounds experienced by grieving children, offering them the tools to heal and grow.

Liza is an active member of numerous prestigious organizations, including her two-term service on the Executive Board of the American Council of Examiners, and has been recognized with numerous awards. Most recently, she was honored with the Special Achievement Award from the Hypnotism Institute in 2023, Citizen of the Year by the Glendale Association of Realtors in 2022 and was twice featured in Business Life Magazine as a Woman Achiever.

Her influence also extends to the community through her long-standing involvement with organizations such as Kiwanis Club of Glendale, the Guild for Adventist Health, and Soroptimist International. She continues to be a champion for women’s empowerment, healing, and personal transformation, living by her motto: "When we struggle with self-worth, we often project it onto others through criticism. Instead, let’s elevate one another and rise together."

My professional life has been spent being of service and making an impact where it matters most. I began in the health care industry where I diligently worked to help underserved and vulnerable communities receive access to health care services. I then went on to work as a divorce and family mediator, applying my calm, level headed and solution based skills as a certified divorce financial analyst to shepherd couples from tumultuous times to greener pastures. From there I parlayed my previously acquired talents as a supportive and understanding advocate of change and found my true calling as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones.

I pledge to offer empowerment and authority to plan for a better, brighter and safer tomorrow. I educate and work with my clients to create financial freedom, relief, comfort, security and hope on the road to getting a grasp on their financial future. I’m always looking ahead and am passionate about helping my clients create their dreams through smart and actionable financial planning.

I believe in a healthy work-life balance and enjoy family time with my wife, Esther, and my identical twin sons, Daniel and David who, graduated from Eagle Rock High School and are attending my alma mater (so proud of them, Roar Lions Roar!). The great outdoors, sports, travel, and creating memories and experiences are my most treasured pastime. My ability to always be level headed and optimistic, especially in the middle of conflict and life changing events, has been essential in helping me be a good husband, father and Financial Advisor.
