Welcome to the Divorce Transition Professionals (DTP).
DTP was founded in 2017. Our primary Mission Statement that still holds true today is:
Making Divorce Just a Little Bit Easier™
We believe that this can be accomplished by bringing together amazing
professionals all of whom have expertise in the divorce landscape and all of
whom understand what it means to collaborate.
At each chapter meeting we bring you a top-notch speaker or program,
providing on-going education, and an opportunity to network and
collaborate with some of the best divorce professionals in your community.
Our meetings are typically an hour. We respect that you are a busy
professional and are sure to provide a compelling, productive meeting, the
ultimate results of which will meet our goal of supporting folks as they go
through divorce and in growing your business, concurrently.
This event is completely free to all FIRST-TIME attendees. It is an
opportunity to learn more about the Divorce Transition Professionals. If
you are a professional with divorce expertise, please check us out.
There is nothing like DTP!

DTP Foothill/Glendale Chapter Leader
John Juarez
My professional life has been spent being of service and making an impact where it matters most. I began in the health care industry where I diligently worked to help underserved and vulnerable communities receive access to health care services. I then went on to work as a divorce and family mediator, applying my calm, level headed and solution based skills as a certified divorce financial analyst to shepherd couples from tumultuous times to greener pastures. From there I parlayed my previously acquired talents as a supportive and understanding advocate of change and found my true calling as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones.
I pledge to offer empowerment and authority to plan for a better, brighter and safer tomorrow. I educate and work with my clients to create financial freedom, relief, comfort, security and hope on the road to getting a grasp on their financial future. I’m always looking ahead and am passionate about helping my clients create their dreams through smart and actionable financial planning.
As an Edward Jones Advisor, I operate from a place of eternal abundance and gratitude. My goal is to be an ongoing, valuable resource and to create long lasting client relationships. I will help guide you to a comfortable mental place where you can make informed and smart decisions regarding your financial stability. I serve by being an empathetic, active listener, and a safe harbor for those seeking answers, security and a healthy financial life. I believe it’s important to invest my time to truly understand what’s most important to you in order to understand what you’re working toward, and to balance the risks and rewards associated with investments that you’re comfortable accepting.
I believe in a healthy work-life balance and enjoy family time with my wife, Esther, and my identical twin sons, Daniel and David who, graduated from Eagle Rock High School and are attending my alma mater (so proud of them, Roar Lions Roar!). The great outdoors, sports, travel, and creating memories and experiences are my most treasured pastime. My ability to always be level headed and optimistic, especially in the middle of conflict and life changing events, has been essential in helping me be a good husband, father and Financial Advisor.
