Welcome to the Divorce Transition Professionals (DTP)
DTP was founded in 2017. Our primary Mission Statement that still holds true today is:
Making Divorce Just a Little Bit Easier™
We believe that this can be accomplished by bringing together amazing professionals all of whom have expertise in the divorce landscape and all of whom understand what it means to collaborate.
At each chapter meeting we bring you a top-notch speaker or program, providing on-going education, and an opportunity to network and collaborate with some of the best divorce professionals in your community. Our meetings are typically an hour. We respect that you are a busy professional and are sure to provide a compelling, productive meeting, the ultimate results of which will meet our goal of supporting folks as they go through divorce and in growing your business, concurrently.

Presentation "What is Divorce Mortgage Planning"
Amy Valdivia brings over three decades of expertise in the mortgage industry to her role as the
Director of Professional Membership at the Divorce Lending Association. With a focus on uniting
family law professionals, Amy spearheads initiatives to provide education, speaking engagements,
and professional growth opportunities, seamlessly integrating divorce mortgage planning into case
management strategies.
Originally from California, Amy's career journey has seen her evolve into a seasoned expert,
currently managing a local branch for CMG Home Loans. Transitioning from internal operations and
underwriting management, she redirected her focus to serve the divorce community. Through her
role in loan origination, training, and speaking engagements, Amy leverages her extensive industry
knowledge to assist divorcing homeowners, and their divorce team, to make informed decisions,
prioritizing stability for their families during times of transition.
Amy's dedication to education is deeply rooted in her personal history inspired by her
grandmother's limited educational background. As a speaker, she is committed to imparting
knowledge and guidance to others, embodying her passion for empowering individuals.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Amy is actively involved in community service as the
Chairman of the Board of the Upland Chamber of Commerce and San Antonio Regional Hospital
Foundation and other service organizations, proving her commitment to making a positive impact
beyond the confines of her professional role.

Luba helps small business owners, and high net worth individuals experience more freedom through structuring or restructuring their finances, by using a methodology that allows to pay less taxes, and invest in their business, life and future. She helps people get money they didn’t know they already had by using innovative tax reduction strategies. She started her career in a big tax preparation company, before ultimately starting her own business. For the last 18 years she has worked with clients in industries such as medical and dental care, IT, consulting, real estate, and more. Luba has always loved helping people, and while looking for the ways to legally reduce her clients tax liability, she has become very interested in the opportunities and loopholes hidden in the tax code.
Luba served as a Treasurer on the school board and local volunteer organization. She has also volunteered for the IRS Tax Assistance Program which aids low income individuals with their tax filings. She is an Enrolled Agent, Certified Tax Coach, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, National Tax Practice Institute Fellow, and QB ProAdvisor.

He has also started several groups such as the Money Mastermind for Women™ and the Divorce Transition Professionals™. Neil has been married to Stacie since 1987, has three beautiful children and lives and works in Westlake Village, California.
